As a travel and landscape photographer, I’m constantly looking to explore both the region around where I live, as well as far off locations. I view my photography as memory anchors that draw me back and let me re-live each moment as well as stories and moments of beauty and inspiration which I can share with my viewers. To see my latest work I encourage you to view my full albums over on flickr and invite you to connect with me on instagram.
In 2022 I had the incredible honor of being selected as one of National Geographic’s “Pictures of the Year” Honorable mentions.
Editing Approach and Style
I was deeply inspired by the pages of National Geographic, Documentary and News photographers growing up and aim to aspire to a similar approach in my editing. What does this mean?
- The majority of my photography consists of single exposures, with rare focus-stacked edits
- I do not composite
- I do not add or remove anything from my work with the exception of lens spots
- I aspire to keep colors, sky, and all related aspects as true to the moment as I can
- I do not sky-replace
- I aspire toward ethical / consented street and travel photography where possible
